Who am I?
I am a child of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for I have been baptized into Christ and have clothed myself with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for all are one in Christ Jesus. If I belong to Christ, then I am of Abraham’s seed and an heir according to the promise. As long as I am an heir and a child, I am no different from a slave, even if I should own the whole estate. I am subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by my Father. So also, when I was a child, I was in slavery under the basic principles of the world. But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of a child of God. Because I am a child of God, He sent the Spirit of his Son into my heart, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So I am no longer a slave, but a child; and since I am a child, God has made me also an heir. ~Galatians 3:26-4:7
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know that
full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was
woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained
for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. ~ Psalm 139:14-16
Why am I here?
For I am God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for me to do. ~Ephesians 2:10
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts me in all my troubles, so that I can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort I, myself, have received from God. ~2 Corinthians 1:3, 4
Where am I going?
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that by believing in him, I shall not perish but have eternal life. ~ John 3:16
Jesus said, “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to you according to what you have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are you who wash your robe, that you may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. ~Revelation 22:12-14
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. ~Psalm 23:6
